Time Periods and Period of Validity

The copyright registration process usually takes around 1-3 months.

The time period of validity for a particular work is the author's life plus additional 100 years after his death.

Requirements

To carry out the registration of your work in Mexico, the following must be sent:

• A complete specimen of the work
• Information on the author: complete name, date of birth, nationality, domicile
• Copy of the official identification
• Power of Attorney issued by the author
